Our mentoring programs were developed for, and proven effective with, four age groups; young child aged 5-8, children aged 8-10, pre-teens ages 10-13, and teens ages 13-22. The curricula are taught through a compilation of highly interactive lessons that are Speaking to the Potential, Ability and Resilience inside every Kid.
Each lesson covers relatable topics that help children & adolescents navigate the trials and celebrate the accomplishments of their school years. Through this program, participants will gain a better understanding of themselves and others, develop vital social and emotional skills, access their creative intelligence and cultivate their personal potential.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
The SPARK Mentoring curricula uses age appropriate content and activities that have been proven to effectively reduce risk around high-school drop-out, drug use, bullying, suicide, depression and anxiety, while uncovering resiliency around academic success, impulse control, stress resistance, social-emotional skills and healthy relationships.
These programs prepare students for the self-sufficiency and resiliency needed to become successful young adults.
