What If It All Works Out?

The Story Behind the National Wellbeing & Resilience Summit

After Hurricane Milton forced the cancellation of the 2024 National Wellbeing & Resilience Conference, our team was heartbroken, but not defeated. In the days and weeks that followed, something powerful began to unfold. The conversations we had, the people who reached out, and the unwavering desire to come together reminded us of one simple truth: things don’t always work out as planned…but they do have a funny way of working out.

That’s where the inspiration for the National Wellbeing & Resilience Summit truly took root.

On February 16, 2026, educators, community leaders, mental health professionals, and those working across systems of care will gather for a day of hope, learning, and transformation. This one-day experience will feature an inspiring keynote, dynamic panels, and interactive workshops all designed to ignite possibility and strengthen communities. Participants will also earn 7 CEUs while gaining fresh perspectives and practical tools to advance mental health, resilience, and positive change across education systems and beyond.

The original theme of our cancelled conference, “What if it all works out?”, still echoes in everything we do. Nearly two years later, it feels more fitting than ever. This summit is an ode to that question — a celebration of resilience, faith, and the beauty of things unfolding in ways we may not have seen coming. It’s a reminder that when we come together with open hearts and minds, everything truly can work out…sometimes even better than we imagined.

A Day of Connection, Conversation, and Change

The summit will open with an inspiring keynote conversation featuring Mavis Karn and Michael Neill — two deeply respected voices whose work has touched countless lives around the world. Together, they’ll explore what it truly means to live with resilience and wellbeing in uncertain times, sharing stories and insights that remind us that peace of mind isn’t something we have to chase — it’s something already within us, waiting to be recognized.

Their message will set the tone for the day: one of hope, clarity, and the quiet confidence that even in the midst of challenge, we are built to thrive.

Following the keynote, the energy of the day continues to build through four dynamic panel conversations led by educators, mental health professionals, and system leaders who are redefining what wellbeing and resilience look like in action.

But these panels aren’t just discussions, but rather stories of courage, creativity, and change from people doing the work every day. You’ll hear from those building more connected classrooms, transforming systems of care, and reimagining what’s possible when we lead with compassion and a deeper understanding of the mind.

Featured speakers include Brooke Wheeldon-Reece, President & CEO of The SPARK Initiative, who brings heartfelt insight into sustaining resilience in education; Anita McGinty, Co-Founder & CEO of Innate Health Research, whose pioneering work bridges science and human connection; and Prince Jimmar, Co-Founder & Director of Rebels for Peace, whose voice embodies the power of youth leadership and community-driven transformation.

Together, they and other inspiring panelists will lead conversations such as:

  • Fostering Future Leaders: The Role of Wellbeing and Resilience in Education
  • The Next Generation of Wellbeing and Resilience in Education
  • Enhancing Systems of Care: The Essential Role of Wellbeing and Resilience
  • The Next Generation of Wellbeing and Resilience in Systems of Care

Each session will offer real stories, practical strategies, and powerful takeaways  grounded in the belief that when people understand their own wellbeing, they naturally become catalysts for it in others.

And the learning doesn’t stop there. The momentum of the summit will carry forward through a series of follow-up trainings designed to deepen understanding and support lasting transformation across schools and systems of care.

Day 2: Foundations Training — Opening the Doors to Everyone for the First Time

After a day filled with inspiration and connection, the momentum continues on February 17th with something truly special — the Foundations Training.

For years, this transformative experience has been reserved exclusively for SPARK and Insight to Wellbeing license holders. But this year marks a powerful first: the doors are open to the public. Anyone curious about how our understanding of the mind transforms mental health, connection, and resilience now has the chance to step inside and experience the foundation that fuels our programs.

This immersive day invites participants to slow down, look within, and rediscover the quiet power of the human mind. Through stories, reflection, exclusive demonstrations and interactive learning, you’ll begin to see how your state of mind shapes every experience, and how recognizing the innate wellbeing within yourself and others changes everything.

Participants will explore:

  • How the mind creates our experience of life and influences the way we respond to challenges.
  • The invisible but vital role of state of mind in success, connection, and emotional balance.
  • How uncovering innate resilience naturally enhances impulse control, stress resistance, and wellbeing.

By the end of the day, participants often describe a sense of peace and clarity — a feeling of “coming home” to something they didn’t even know they’d lost. Participants will leave with:

  • A deeper understanding of how the mind shapes everyday life.
  • A renewed recognition that resilience and wellbeing are not something we learn, but rather something to be recognized within ourselves and those around us.
  • Practical tools to bring this understanding into classrooms, organizations, and systems of care.
  • 7 CEUs toward professional development.

Days 3 & 4: Implementation and Train-the-Trainer — Bringing the Learning to Life

As the week unfolds, the focus shifts from understanding to action. Days 3 and 4 are where the insights from the Summit and Foundations Training truly come to life through shared stories, hands-on practice, and real-world application.

Day 3: Implementation Training is all about putting the SPARK Mentoring Program Curriculum and Insight to Wellbeing Program into motion. Designed for licensed facilitators, this immersive day invites participants to explore what effective implementation looks like across diverse settings — from schools and after-school programs to systems of care and correctional environments.

In small, collaborative groups, participants will practice leading lessons, share experiences from the field, and explore how to deliver the mentoring program curriculum with both fidelity and heart. It’s a day filled with connection, creativity, and those “aha” moments when theory meets the realities of everyday work.

Then, on Day 4: Train-the-Trainer, the focus turns to expanding the ripple effect. This advanced session is designed for those who want to take what they’ve learned and train others to implement SPARK and Insight to Wellbeing programs in their own schools, organizations, or communities. Participants will gain the tools, structure, and confidence to lead facilitator training while ensuring that the message of innate resilience and mental health reaches even further.

By the end of these two powerful days, participants leave not only with new strategies and skills, but with a renewed sense of purpose — ready to guide others in uncovering their own wellbeing and potential.

Participants will gain:

  • Real-world methods for implementing the mentoring program curriculum with authenticity and compassion.
  • Tools to cultivate mental health and resilience across diverse environments.
  • A deeper understanding of how to sustain and scale this work within schools and communities.
  • The knowledge and confidence to train others.

For many, these final days are where everything “clicks.” It’s where understanding becomes action, and where the movement toward mental health, wellbeing, and resilience turns into lasting, generational change.

Why Sponsorship Matters: Igniting Change Together

Now more than ever, the need for mental health and resiliency education is undeniable. Across the world, individuals and systems alike are seeking sustainable ways to address stress, burnout, and disconnection. The National Wellbeing & Resilience Summit was created to meet that need by providing access to a simple yet profound understanding of the mind and practical tools that help people recognize their innate wellbeing.

But we know many schools, organizations, and systems of care are operating with limited resources for mental health programs and professional development. By becoming a sponsor, you can help bridge that gap — offering educators, community leaders, and caregivers the opportunity to attend this transformative event and bring its impact back to their schools, workplaces, and communities.

Your support ensures that cost is never a barrier to igniting wellbeing and resilience in those who need it most.

We offer three sponsorship levels:

  • Bronze Sponsor – For just $250, sponsor an attendee who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend and gain brand recognition through social media.
  • Silver Sponsor – For just $500, sponsor an attendee who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend, gain brand recognition through social media, website and signage.
  • Gold Sponsor – For just $1,000, sponsor an attendee who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend, attend the summit yourself, and gain brand recognition through social media, website and signage.

Each level offers meaningful recognition and opportunities to help strengthen the wellbeing movement.
